Judith Power - Counsellor and Therapeutic Counsellor

My Story

My journey is a personal one, it is a career choice that I have grown into as I have experienced life and all that it can throw at you.

Therapy changed my world both personally and now professionally.  I was lucky enough to have a therapist that understood me and allowed me to be seen and heard and it is this approach that I carry into my client sessions.

I have been fully qualified since 2021 and I am continuing my development and the spectrum of clients that I work with.

Healing Through Compassion

My Approach

I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, polyamorous relationships and families overcome challenges and improve their mental well-being. With a compassionate and client-centred approach, my therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive space to explore and address issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship problems. I am committed to guiding you towards positive change, personal growth, and emotional healing to empower you to lead a fulfilling and balanced life.

I am a qualified therapist that provides both short and long-term therapy. I offer a calm, confidential and supportive space for all my clients using online, telephone or face-to-face sessions.

I am an integrative therapist which means that I draw from several types of therapies to ensure that each client is offered what is right for them. I tailor how I work with each person to help them achieve their goals and work through anything causing them distress.  I work at the client’s pace and with issues that are important to them.  By building resilience and self-awareness people can face all that life brings to them in a controlled way.

I have worked with a wide range of clients and issues both in private practice and with Anxiety UK. I am experienced with helping clients work through issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems and issues that occur around life stage changes.

It can be daunting finding a therapist and there are so many choices – it can also be the start of real change for a person and relationships.
